The portrait process is initiated by a personal visit with Holly Thaggard, the Director of Sales and Marketing for Janie Emery. An open discussion includes details of the portrait: size, formality/informality, where the portrait will hang, mood and feeling of the portrait, clothing and setting. At this time, a one-hour photography session is scheduled for composition and reference.
